Yeah - it, along with "-thing- is made of People", "-person-, I am your Father" and "Dammit, -person-, I'm a -job-, not a -job-" are probably the most common SF references to be worked into conversation.

"Luke, I am your Father" (If you missed that one, stay under the rock)
and
"Dammit, Jim, I'm a Doctor, not a bricklayer." or whatever else McCoy used it for, I also remember "escalator, but I'm sure there were more.

There might be a double reference in this one..
"damn dirty ape" was uttered by Charlton Heston - who has also played MANY Roman parts! (Ben Hur is the most obvious).
