You're not old until you've had hip surgery.

Happy birthday, from the guy that's been old for 7 years now :-P

SCFE. Had a pin put in, but the joint now seems to be wearing down so I'll probably need a replacement in the next couple years.

Gee, one of my friends had hip surgery* a few years back. She's now 25, and she'll probably need the other one replaced sometime in the next couple of years as well.

(*damaged from chemotherapy to combat leukemia. Both hip joints f'ed up. One replaced, one to go)

Oh, Happy BDay. It's soooo much better to get old, than the alternative.

Happy Birthday! (I'm turning 40 in December, young whippersnapper! :))

For the record, I'd just like to say that FK can snap MY whippers ANY time!! ;-)

And you know, FK, you are exactly 2 weeks to the *day* younger than my baby brother. Don't know why that never occurred to me before.

Happy happy! :-)

Speaking of weeks to the day...
my birthday: 10/19
brothers and mothers birthday (same day): 10/26
sisters birthday: 11/2
baby sisters birthday: 11/16

Freaky, eh? (For those two lazy, its my bday, exactly one week later, exactly one week later, exactly two weeks later).

That is freaky! Three dear friends of mine are all in a row, with mine a week later (9-30,10-1,10-2,10-7) odd in it's own right :)

Happy B-day! (a day late, but...meh)

It'd be too long a haul to 0x21, though...hell, I just made it this year. :-)

Despite your backwards stating of the date, you're making me feel old. I remember 1976 quite well. It was unfeasibly hot. Although we've had hotter years since then in terms of outright temperature, 1976 was the longest sustained heatwave in my memory at least. We had 15 consecutive days above 32 degrees, the threshold for defining a heatwave in the UK. The ponds at the top of the road dried up. The tarmac on the M1 motorway melted. Water shortages ensued everywhere. The UK government even went as far as appointing a Minister For Drought.

<highlander>Ahhh, yes, 1976 was a good year</highlander>
