    But yours is pretty nifty, too.
    • Is that the act of burglarizing a burgled burglar? Or perhaps the burglar that has burgaled the burglarized location decides to be glamorous?

      When I go home, I'm telling my wife she looks absolutely burglarious today and see how she takes it... If she takes it badly, I may have to glissade onto the couch for the night... :(

    The Usual Excuses:

    1. "I'll be giving out the candy." - Translation - "I'll be eating all the good stuff and giving out the crap.".

  • ... glissando, when you slide down (or up) the string of a violin or similar stringed instrument to produce that spooky tape-slowing-down effect... When playing double bass, incidentally, there is a thing called "back gliss", in which you take your hand and slide it rapidly up the back of the bass, producing a squeaking noise. Still technically a glissando.
