I hate terrorists as much as anyone else.

I have the FBI's Bin Laden wanted poster on the side of my server rack.

I'm merely pragmatic enough to see that the reason for attacks against us are probably for the stated reasons, not because, "they hate us for our freedoms".

  • Fighting terrorism doesn't necessarily cause terrorism.

    Fighting terrorism the way we currently are does though.

    I'm pretty sure if the Chinese paratrooped into my backyard and started shooting the shit out of my friends and family I'd be pretty pissed and fight back, even if they said they were 'liberating' me from Bush.

    Just sayin'.

      If they started shooting the sit out of my friends and family I'd have a problem, but if they just liberated me from 'shrub ' I wouldn't.

      • I'm afraid that, as much as I hate shrub, I'd have to fight any invading force seeking to "dethrone" him.

        While I'm concerned about his non-election in 2000, that's more a matter of procedural stupidity to me then damning evidence of a widespread problem.

        I hate Bush with a fervent passion, but he's still the president, lousy as he may be, and I'd still fight to defend the homeland even if that meant defending him in the process.
