Eight Valentine's Day since puberty and I still have yet to have Valentine's Day fall on a day when I have a woman in my life.

Until I was engaged- you've got to be ready to commit to have a better than 1/365 chance of having a woman in your life on Valentine's Day. Which is fitting, because the original Valentine's Day was more about sex and commitment than about love.

I'm serious. Roses are jacked up into the stratosphere. Crappy chocolate at Belgian prices. Any good restaurant is packed, and many have timed seatings (ya got two hours buddy... shut up and eat).
