  • I know quite a large number of them- but they're mainly of the type "I can't fix any of the 50 chevys in my front yard or find a job, but somehow I can scam food stamps out of the government and pay for plenty of ammo for my gun" poor....
  • I guess because 10 Euros doesn't make it worth my time to even *think* of looking for one, that disqualifies me. :-)

i'm the enemy, and oppressor. frankly, i like it. but, alas, today, i did nothing to oppress the poor. no, i just worked my tail off to support a non-functioning corrupt welfare system that favors sitting on your ass and not doing anything over working.

Even signed the pledge, "you will not initiate violence" and etc. Then they ran that pompous cretin Neal Boortz as their main speaker at the national convention and I quit, went to being a small l and started complaining. As much as most Libertarians talk about having pulled themselves up by their bootstraps I typically find that their bootstraps are gold plated. They usually have had far more opportunities from birth than I've ever had and don't seem to believe in the luck of just being born into a family that can provide those opporunities. • I'm not provably sane: No Euros for me. I find most of the Libertarians ' claimed beliefs match more closely to mine than democans or republicrats, so lump me in with them if you must. I'm not poor, I have been both poor (an attitude) and broke (a financial condition, BIG difference)...
  • Hi Fidel, its been awhile.

By the political compass, I'm a moderate libertarian - that is, I favour an NHS and state provided education, aswell as charity providing for foreign aid in its entirity. Relying on charity for all of soceity's ills, poverty and such, is (in contrast with Friedman's views)unrealistic. People simply aren't that generous. When I enter my city's centre I always buy a copy of the Big Issue - a magazine sold by the homeless, thus earning them money for food. This idea is fundamentally l
