Journal KshGoddess's Journal: Chibi-Robo!

So we had a Best Buy gift certificate burning a hole in our collective pockets, and I stumbled upon the demo for Chibi-Robo for the GameCube.

It is, as the name implies, about a CUUUUUTE little robot. He goes around cleaning up, picking up trash, putting it into his head, scrubbing the floor with a toothbrush, and climbing up and over and through all sorts of things in the house. It's insanely addictive.

Each "day" lasts, well, 5, 10, or 15 minutes, depending on how long you decide to play. You buy 'tokens' to make the day longer. You get to shoot Spyders who are invading the house, and pick up the junk they leave behind to build ladders and bridges.

As you gain "happy points" -- yes, HAPPY POINTS -- you go up in the Chibi-Robo rankings and get a battery upgrade. Your battery controls how long you can walk around the house without plugging in yourself.

Insanely cute, addictive, and rated E. Requires a little reading ability, but mostly, you can figure out what to do with your tools without much work.

Yay! Chibi-Robo! :)
