Journal chrisbtoo's Journal: Can anyone help me with these 2 Visual Studio annoyances?
I've recently got fairly into using MSVC 2005 (did a bit of 2003 before it, too, but now there's support for "Smart Device" development in there, I'm using it a lot more).
There are 2 things about it which really bug me. Can anyone help me out with them?
1) Bookmarks. Ctrl-F2 to enable, F2 or Shift-F2 to cycle between them (also Ctrl-K, Ctrl-K; Ctrl-K, Ctrl-N; Ctrl-K, Ctrl-P). However, I was quite fond of the old behaviour where it only cycled through bookmarks in the current file. Anyone know if there's an option / hack to switch that behaviour on?
2) Doesn't play nicely with "X-Mouse". X-Mouse is a setting from the Tweak UI PowerToy which gives windows focus as you mouse over them (so you don't need to click the window to give it focus). But for some reason, Visual Studio decides it wants to be auto-raised every time it's moused-over. That's a huge PITA when you're just moving from one window to another, and VS is behind it. Anyone know if there's a hack for it?
