There's a great link at Metafilter about computer screens in movies. That's the kind of thing that manages to combine two of my geek areas in one.

On that note, does it bug anyone else that metafilter only does paid subscriptions through paypal? I don't trust paypal due not only to the numerous horror stories you can hear(here and here, for example), but because my stepdad is a federal public defender and tells me a really large percentage of his wire fraud cases involve paypal in one way or another.
