We've got a new poll running at Seen on Slash: How many comments have you ever posted to Slashdot? I'm shocked that so far the majority responding says less than 20 comments. I'm very curious to see how many visitors are active veterans (assuming it takes years to post thousands).

Holy crap, 15,000 comments! That's insane. And his ID is double mine. I figure those with over 3,000 belong in their own category. Once you have that many another thousand doesn't really make a difference when compared to average posters.

Even more insane- most of what he has to say is pretty worthwhile, too. That's not just 15k of crap, that's 15k of insightful and funny stuff.

Well, according to Taco, the vast majority of /. readers neither read nor post comments. So if you want to measure longevity, maybe you want to ask how long have you been reading slashdot (and how frequently).
