GAH! I don't understand why I'm getting these messages(my last few messages haven't even been modded down)...it's annoying not being able to post on Slashdot. Any suggestions?

  • Is it a dynamic IP? Perhaps someone else on your ISP is spamming or something, it happened to me a while ago, I contacted banned at slashdot.org (as the faq suggested [slashdot.org]) and a couple of weeks later they lifted the ban.
  • they say it's automated, but basically what happens is you probably posted in some controversial topic, like evolution or science, and stated scientific fact and were rated troll and other negative ratings by the naysayers.

    There is, literally, nothing you can do.

    However, you can post in your own journal. And people can reply to it.
