5 Years...there's so many opinion pieces that I found interesting reads over the last 36 hours or so, regardless of what you think of Olbermann, this piece is a good one to think on...

I second that - somehow, Rumsfeld has managed to stay onboard despite the glaring failure of his "lean & mean" approach to restructuring the military. They didn't go in with even half enough troops to really do the job. Yet Bush stands by his circle of misanthropic misfits no matter the consequences.

Not to mention the reason most evangelicals and Roman Catholics who voted for him in 2000 did so: pro-life issues. There were more abortions in America in 2004 than in any previous year, despite the incidence of teenage pregnancy going DOWN. The Republican Party has a majority in Congress, has the Executive Branch, has a majority on the Supreme Court.
