svunt's Journal: Who did I piss off?

As far as I can remember, /. usually asks me to metamod about 8,000 mods a day...until a couple of weeks ago, when I suddenly seemed to be cut out of the loop, no mod points for weeks, no metamod links, nothing. I haven't accused editors of anything, I haven't had a single down-mod in months, I contribute comments regularly, moderate carefully, etc.

I haven't been asked to meta-mod regularly for a few days/weeks - every 3rd or 4th day but I had mod points 2 days ago.

Probably just /. & slashcode chucking a wobbly with the changes going on.

Did you notice the call for submissions on the front page? Normally Taco et al whinge about being swamped with them

Yeah, I did notice that, I assumed it was what came up when the ubiquitous please metamod notice went missing...but I got mod points today, so I guess along with your comment, I can assume it's not just me - thanks for commenting.
