New Options for posting?

User Journal 3

When did we get 3 options for posting?

Publicize: Submit this story to be posted to the Slashdot front page
Publish: Share this with other Slashdot users
Post: Pay no attention to my musings

"Pay no attention to my musings" is this how we post to our journals now?

Here's the lowdown... (1)

Publicize puts it on firehose as if you clicked the "Submit as Story" button before. So it's like you are posting a story, but it's saved in your journal also. Publish puts it on the firehose, but as a lower score than publicize. I guess this is for people that don't KNOW if they want it on the front page or not. And Post doesn't put it on firehose, so it's like the "old" JEs.

What is this firehose of which you speak? And how did it get into my Journal? Is there a place to see all these "Published" posts?
