I need to get this off my chest

Christmas has evolved into agrotesquely extravagant and ritualistic parody of the Savior's birth and life. It is in stark contrast to what Jesus Christ was all about, and what He taught and what He died for, and it must be in opposition to God's will.

What specifically upsets you the most?

For me Christmas is celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ and a time to get together with your family. I can't say I don't put up a Christmas tree and some decoration though.

I personally believe the real culprits are the big commercial companies which try to push through as much rubbish as they can for Christmas (while at the same time too cowardly to wish customers a happy Christmas in case they offend).

Doing away with gifts for the holiday season would be awesome, but

I'm not sure what upsets me the most about this Christmas holiday Binkzz, but I know that pine trees and multi-colored lights have nothing to do with the birth of Jesus, nor does even the month of December. And all these advertisements and sales and numerous muzak remditions of "Rudolph the rednose reindeer" are driving me nutzoid. It's all so superficial.
