Journal blinder's Journal: Multiply Problem? 6

its weird, for some reason, all day today, i haven't been able to log into my multiply account.

i just get this error:

Proxy Error
The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server.

The proxy server could not handle the request GET /.

Reason: Could not connect to remote machine: Connection refused

i've sent them a few emails, but haven't heard anything back yet. the site works when i'm not logged in.

oh well, i wanna play with the new toys :(

anyone else see this today?

Sounds like your web proxy is borked; I haven't had any trouble either. If this is your home ISP's proxy, you should bug them and see if they can fix the problem (bad cached data maybe?)

i don't use a proxy. at all. and when i delete my cookies, the multiply site loads up just fine. just when i log in, and i get the cookie.

and not just on my home machine, but at work also.

Huh that is weird. Since multiply is currently down, maybe they are fixing the problem :-)
  • Not having problems at home. At work this morning, it was weird, but i was figuring that was because they block certain sites from there. (weird that i could log in and read multiply, but not view my own settings)

    ^_^

  • The proxy server could not handle the request GET /.

see the /. at the end? That's Malda's doing!
