Chacham's Journal: Tags: yes with no no

Amazon Launches Answers Service Beta is tagged yes and there is no no. Maybe they were relying on the "dept" line?

I don't do tags, but given the tags guidelines, shouldn't the proper tag be !yes instead of no? (I also like that I inadvertently replicated your "no no" in my subject, but with a different grammatical sense. Well, as inadvertently as Freud would allow, anyway.)

Not really.

Tags like "yes" and "no" aren't converying agreement or disagreement. "yes" denotes enthusiam and means something like "finally!" or "yipee!". "no", however, connotates "this shouldn't happen" or "absolutely not!", something that !yes just wouldn't convey.

! notation is for subjects, not emotional expression.
