andy314159pi's Journal: MiniBoone Refutes Observation of Non-Standard Model Physics

The Fermi National Accelerator Lab's massive experimental undertaking known as MiniBoone has returned results today. MiniBoone results fail to confirm any physics beyond the standard model. In particular they were checking whether or not an observation at a previous experiment known as LSND of the oscillations of neutrinos from one type (or flavor) to another was a real phenomenon. The observation was in error and no new physics was observed.

For all we know, it's possible that our perception of the events was beyond the capabilities of our measuring devices and mental thought processes.
