  • I have your first one, oly ultramatch. No top grip, full rail, williams peep. Instead of ak I have an sks but DANG you got one of the better ak variants, probably the best built or dang close, perhaps the valmet might be just a teeny red one better built, but it isn't an EBR either!

    You know what i would like? If the 'tard government would just cut loose with dotmilsurplus 14s, that's what I would like, and stop being nebbishes about the second. That and an M2 big bad brow

      Yep, the verbal contortions that people use to claim that the 2nd doesn't mean what it plainly says are astounding. It's a shame that the gov't would rather destroy historic weapons than make a tidy buck selling them to collectors.

        ...it's a gun. Bang bang, shoots as good as your eyeballs work. Not a huge fan of the caliber, but I got it as a deal, figgered it might come in handy sometime... I am more or less liking just bolt guns with good glass better, as ammo is so expensive now. Last two shows I went to, ZERO cases of anything to be had.

        Also thinking of getting a cowboy rig-just because I am boyish and have cows! hahahaha! Along with a horse, then get a nice matched set, .44 single action and .44 lever action. I have a double acti

          I got the bug for something cowboyish a while ago, ended up with this [photobucket.com].

          I'd really like to get a single action revolver in 45 Colt and a lever action (maybe one of those Rossi 92 carbines in 454) to go with it, but it's gonna be a while because of another little recent acquisition [photobucket.com].

      What kind of AK were you looking at? If I could afford it, I'd love to get a Tromix Saiga conversion.
      • It was a Romanian with a side-folding Tapco stock for $399 at Cabela's. I was probably stupid for passing it up, but I was there with my parents and my Mom never would have let me hear the end of it for my spending habits even though I've been out of the house for a few years. ;) It kinda looked goofy with the wood forend and black polymer stock, but I probably would have either put a top-folder on there, or changed the forend with a black polymer one.

        I do like AKs, but I think I'd probably get another
