Journal mandark1967's Journal: Our Solar system was adopted? 4

Our Solar System is traveling at a 60 to 90 degree angle compared to the rest of the Milky Way Galaxy and scientists have now discovered why. It seems our solar system originated not in the Milky Way Galaxy, but in the Sagittarius dwarf galaxy, which is in the process of being eaten by the Milky Way.

The article here contains some very interesting information concerning the process of our solar system being adopted by the Milky Way and posits the theory that Global warming is a direct result of our adoption into a more energetic galaxy. There is additional information located at this link which contains further links to additional coverage.

  • Those two "Zone" site you link to are not what I would call reputable science journals. At best they're amateur science blogs, less charitably I might even call them trashy pseudoscience nuts (a step or two this side of TimeCube or Electric Universe).

Try again if this stuff gets publised in a real journal, or even just a major-label news site.
    • There is an actual result (referenced) that is shaded into not very informed speculation without a clear separation of the cited work and the speculator's additions. The idea that the orientation of the Solar System with respect to the plane of the Galaxy (speculation) is significant exhibits very foggy thinking since it is very clear that the orientation of binaries is not related to the to the orientation of the Milky Way. In fact, the Sun's orbit is quite circular and the likelihood that the Sun in kin
