Drupal gets the seal of disapproval

  • I'm actually looking into putting together a CMS for the local Humane Society. I'm currently messing around with Nucleus (because I don't need lots of bells and whistles), but my main concerns are stability and ease of backup/recovery. Any tips?
    • It depends on what features you need. Is this a public-facing CMS, or internal?

      BTW, you know I'm a sucker for dogs :-)

      I'm putting a bit of my (small) available spare time into writing one that serves content as xml/css via xmlhttp requests. I've got the login/logout portion working this weekend, but I want to add a second layer of persistence. The ability to send the xml and css, and update just a portion of the page, is complete.

      • Thanks for the tip, I'll give postnuke a try and see if I like it. Kudos on coming up with your own, it's a crowded field out there and it sounds like you'd want to share it out as opposed to coding something up for yourself.
