Journal twitter's Journal: Yahoo Sued on Behalf of Jailed Chinese Dissident

The World Organization for Human Rights is suing Yahoo in San Francisco for handing over information that led to the arrest and 10 year prison sentence of journalist, Shi Tao, and activistWang Xiaoning.

Yahoo should have asked the Chinese government why it wanted information about the two men before handing it over [and] failed to live up to its ethical responsibilities.

Yahoo is denying all responsibility and asking for dismissal. The way they lean on the term "lawful" is disturbing. If doing business in China means turning people over for political imprisonment and torture, no one should do business in China.
