JonTurner's Journal: My little enemy here on Slashdot? Overated(-1)

Interesting... checked slashdot after dinner tonight to see I had messages. I thought: "Strange.. I haven't posted in a few days. Wonder what that's about?" Found that my last four posts (Scored 5-Interesting, 5-Funny, 1 and 4-Insightful) were all moderated "Overrated (-1)".

So is that what it's come to around here? Someone with a political bone to pick... they can't debate you in the forums, so the moment they get some mod points they follow you around and demote your postings?
That's rather pathetic. But I'm glad to know I'm having an affect on someone to the point they'd piss away moderator points just to take a crack at me.
Well, my dear anonymous moderator, whatever I said that pissed you off, I meant it. Not only that, but your favourite band sucks, too.

You'd think Slashdot would be able to detect bulk negative moderations of one person's posts and raise a flag or something. I guess they're too busy editing..

Actually, someone did that to me once and I sent an email to CmdrTaco (include cid links). The user who did it to me is no longer allowed to access the moderation system. Ever.
