I have a confession to make. I couldn't resist marking this comment as Informative. I know, it's a slight abuse of the moderation system, but it was with good intention. I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me. I guess not a lot of people cared a lot, as the moderation was marked 95% fair. I've had worse.

The ensuing discussion makes me wish that one could comment on their moderation. I understand why it isn't allowed, but to at least be able to send a message to the person you moderate would be nice. For a positive mod, it would be nice to send praise in something more than a pre-defined list of 8 or so words. For a negative mod, perhaps an explanation, or something.

Also, it would be nice to be able to track comments that you post as AC. I've had only a few, but I would like to be able to follow the conversation in a way other than manually. It would work best as a preference setting, probably disabled by default. I'm mostly just rambling, but if someone would like to take these ideas, feel free. Or comment, as desired.
