Journal JustOK's Journal: A Different Proposal

The next lobbiest being paid by a company to influence an elected representative or delegate, or any official of a public office (etc) should be charged with conspiring to subvert the course of democracy. By attempting to influence the laws that are made or not made, and how they may be enforced, the companies are replacing or eliminating the citizens' voice and authority over our own governments. It may even be argued that this is an organized attacked.

Also, while our laws currently consider some businesses and companies as legal entities and while they are being taxed, these business entities should be entitled to their own separate legislative system or body. For example, in the USA, in addition to the Executive, Judicial, the Legislative branch would include the Senate, the Congress and the Board.
