What's the deal with myminicity?

Do you get points or something for people who look at your city? I see links in the front page stories (often disguised through snipurl or tinyurl), but the cities do not appear to be anything a troll would try to lure someone to. So I've been wondering what the point is. I'll take a look at yours later, since the site is filtered at work. As is Flickr. :-/

My city gets a point when you click it; one click per day. I'm in the top 20-something for the time being ;-)
