Journal MousePotato's Journal: javascript questions... 4
Anyone have a few interesting javascript links they'd be willing to share? I'm looking for a few shortcuts on how to gray out a page (like idle.slashdot does when you click on the watch link) as well as some nice css/html tricks for onmousover events.
Update: A few interesting variations of the gray out page concept;

First lets look at your javascript "gray out a page" question. http://google.com/search?q=javascript+gray+out+a+page [google.com] seems to do the trick nicely. Notice how its the first hit.
Your second question is a bit more open ended, but google does really well as well. Try http://google.com/search?q=css%2Fhtml+tricks+for+onmousover+events [google.com].
Its amazing what google knows, and I'm sure the same queries will return similar results on other search engines. Search before you ask!

I've come up with a few interesting variations to the gray out concept already, but, was looking to see if anyone would recommend something more elegant and share their experiences. Thanks for sharing the links. Perhaps it will add more to this discussion
