The Matrix 3

I'm looking for work and a bit freaked out. for more as I don't really want to post all the gory details in a completely public place.

No idea what they pay or how good they are or anything, I just read web news a lot, from a zillion places, and noticed these dudes [] were hiring a variety of IT, and most of it looks like it can be telecommuting, meaning you can live where it is cheap and still make money as long as you can get an internet connection. maybe it will help, if not, oh well, about all I got to offer right now.

Hang in there, the economy sucks,it *is* going to get much worse, take what you can get and *cut expenses*. I smelled this crap coming some years ago and decided I would go back to farm work because 1) I can do it and like it mostly, I like the outdoors, 2) onsite housing, 3) onsite live where the food comes from (ie cheap or free, another big bill at least partially taken care of), zero commuting expenses, walk outside and "at work",another bill nixed 4) onsite where the most commonly used human energy source for the past few thousand years-wood-comes free for the taking, and it is still good for heating and cooking, another huge bill covered, 5) you get to see more birds than just skyrats, 6) pay sorta sucky but not bad considering points 1-4, 7) people are going to eat, no matter how bogus the economy gets, so call it job security, 8)I can't get broadband yet, but a lot of farming areas can, and dialup still works good enough if you are careful and turn images and JS off, 9) lots of healthful interesting outdoor activities to do, and you don't have to go far to do them, plus you can go wild and build all sorts of junk in your spare time with scrap steel and your welder and stuff and absolutely no one gives a crap about it, geek fun, 10)and the *best* reason, you can just go take a leak when and where you feel like it....some sort of primeval wonderfulness there %^)

Sorry to hear that... (1)

I can't read what you wrote there. I refuse to create an account. However, I wish you good luck in finding a new job.

My wife and I were both unemployed for a considerable period of time. It makes for difficult, anxious times, but you will find work. Guarantee. Keep posting, updating, and calling people and you will find it. I didn't believe it either, but I eventually landed where I am now: and that was over four years ago.

Chin up!
