Perhaps Twitter is really Rob Malda. The editors and staff certainly don't seem to mind how he abuses the system.

They don't really care about most abuses at all. There's a complaint channel, of course, but unless something's borked with the code, the playground stays pretty much intact. Main reason why a lot of people choose to "hang" here. This is the largest and least-restrictive free web forum around.

I know, I know, and I agree. I was mostly being tongue in cheek with this journal entry. I don't *really* think Malda is twitter, but I *do* think he is sympathetic to twitter's 'cause'.
It would be more likely that nitwitter is a reverse psychology troll working for MS. I don't really believe that either but it's more likely than my first hypothesis ;)

Duh. Most of us here are. This was originally a Linux discussion site, and the average geek who hangs here is more likely to have a MS box for game-playing, while running half a dozen other operating systems on their other rigs, so yeah, the MS love isn't exactly strong here.

I'm not a fan of MS, but I'm also not a fan of lies and FUD, which is what twitter thrives on. I prefer honesty rather than trolling :-)
I'm also not 'religious' about it. I use Linux, OS X, Solaris, Windows, etc. Hell I still have an OS/2 machine here. Use the proper tool for the job in the proper context, I say.
