Journal kesuki's Journal: what security really needs...

is a god damned video professor course on basic internet security, preferably focused on dealing with vista/comodo firewall 3's basic protection against virus like activity, as well as how to handle e-mail and websites, maybe even show people how to use noscript on firefox.

all the security features in the world mean nothing when you've got an idiot who just wants to know how to stay safe in under 20 minutes of their own time.

seriously i was burned in the 2006 problem. it was based on basically accepting slashdot's 'basic security practice' of listening to a bunch of guys chatter about noise, while 5 get modded to +5. i relearned that security almost always has flaws, mostly by design. but um yeah, without places like video professor offering crash courses that idiots could understand, what's the point?
