Majik Sheff's Journal: Mod point hell

I've spent a year with Excellent karma, and not even one mod point. Now that dry spell is broken (or was). In the past week I've received 15. I realize that It'll probably be another year before I get more because I use them to mod up people who have been punished by the Slashdot groupthink. I can now fully expect to be bitch slapped by metamods.

I'm not complaining. The system is what it is and I understand that there is a lot of history and trial-by-fire behind it. I just needed to express my disgust with the usage of negative mods to indicate "I disagree".
