Thanks to SockDisclosure, 14 twitter sockpuppets accounts have been discovered. In my opinion. sockpuppets are a wrong way to use Slashdot. What can I do? Mostly nothing, but I marked all twitter accounts as foes and invite you to do so too. Goal: enhance the quality of the Slashdot discussions I/we happen to read.

If you look at the relationship between Pudge [slashdot.org] and RailGunner [slashdot.org] (previously under the name Naqamel [slashdot.org]) the same puppet - puppeteer behavior seems to be present.

The only significant difference in the behavior sets is that Twitter and company actually write about technology here, while Pudge and company just write about politics in each others' journals.

    Let's take a look at what you think is your argument, and I'll show you how wrong you are.
    
    If you compare Pudge [slashdot.org] to RailGunner [slashdot.org] or the previous iteration, Naqamel [slashdot.org], you'll see that the three of them are profoundly similar:
    
    They have nearly identical friend/foes lists
    They are all friends/fans of each other
    They almost never post in response to articles
    They love to reply to each others journal entries to congratulate each other
    They share the same hard-core conservative views

        Similar? I think a better adjective would be identical. Can you find a single time when those two (if they are even two people) disagreed on anything?
        
        Their behavior pattern has been that one will post a hard-core conservative opinion in their journal, and the other will post a reply in the same journal entry, agreeing with it.
