Journal FortKnox's Journal: IBM, Eclipse, and $40 Million to Open Source
It was recently reported that IBM launched an open source project known as Eclipse. Now, big blue is using this as its back-end for it Java tools for WebSphere. And to top it off, they're donating $40 million to the open source community. Of course there is a catch, and that they are pushing their "Linux Solutions", but still good news for Open Source.
