I see this possability of a cancelation; as a profit!
The project has yet to answer the first question, in fact it has raised the quantity of questions considerabely.
All hubble mitions should be put on perminant hold; untill world poverty is noloner a problem.
Enough! Enough! Science has squandered enough taxpayer $$ on their very expensive toy!

If you want to talk about squandering money you should be talking about things like the war that the previous POTUS started without provocation.

The only facts; I am aware of: Science has not proved that there is no creator. Religion has been unable to prove there is a creator. And there are honest people; whom admit they do not know.

Tell me one thing of value, to humanity; that the Hubble telescope has accomplished
It changed our understanding of how galaxies are formed in the universe with regards to their positions in space. It has shown that galaxies in space are accelerating over time, and that indeed objects can move at speeds greater than the speed of light.
Those are all valuable things to humanity.

I've already mentioned a short summary of some of what we've learned from Hubble.
Can it do anything to stop wars, political corruption; ans the like?
So then would you want the government to discontinue funding on life sciences research by that logic? And have you ignored the technology that is in everyday life that stemmed from NASA research already?
