Libraries are icons of greatness (Score:1)
I've probably read more books than George W. Bush and yet nobody is naming a library after me. Unlike the recent statistics I've heard about books people lie about having read (1984 and I think it was War and Peace were the most popular lied about books) I've actually taken the time to read them. But I guess maybe it's my poor English and communication skills that are preventing me from succeeding, because people often observe that I lack intelligence in those areas.

Having even less intelligence in those areas precludes me from making any judgment. I do believe however, that one of the prerequisites of having a presidential library named after you is that you would have to have been president at least once. For any other kind of library, just donate tons of money towards its construction. Or be the mayor [chipublib.org] of a great city. You may have to die while still in office for that though.

That seems quite arbitrary (to me). Why not (instead) just name a Library after a popular porn star?

A video library, perhaps? I got lost in the stacks...
