This news is slightly old, but I didn't notice it on /. previously. SANS has called out Microsoft for not following 'responsible disclosure' as they want others to. Even saying that they feel the right to brand others as 'irresponsible' when others release vulnerability details before the patches are released.

Speaking to Computer World, Swa Frantzen, an analyst at SANS Institute's Internet Storm Center, criticised Microsoft for issuing patches that fix the Windows versions of PowerPoint while announcing that patches for the same flaws in the Mac editions would not be released until June.

A poll from the Internet Storm Center had 47% thinking Microsoft was irresponsible for omitting the fixes for the Mac editions, what are your thoughts?
