Today, when I saw one or two of my recent posts to be rated +5 Informative, I thought it would be the best day of my entire life.
Then, I realized how cruel was /., and how successes weren't static at all, when those got modded back down to 4...

That's fine, really, +4 is good, the problem is, if ratings do represent your ability to make an insightful/informative point, and to express it clearly, why do my "fun" posts get modded +4 insightful right away...?

I think I may have to practice my "express clearly my intention" skill, but I don't think adding tiny smilies would fit here in Slashdot :p

Still, it's better that a "fun" post gets modded "Insightful" than an insightful post being modded "Fun", isn't it ?
