So I'm flipping through the channels on a Sunday morning, since the History Channel has seemingly become the Ice Road Truckers channel and Discovery seldom has anything worth watching any more (Mythbusters is about it), and of course there is a preacher on every other channel.
Every one of them is wearing a four thousand dollar suit (except one local guy who isn't wearing Satan's Leash, aka a necktie) and not one of them has a single strand of facial hair. Most of these preachers wearing their expensive suits are begging for money from the poor, and judging homosexuals.
Odd that the Christian Bible says that a man should not make himself look like a woman, yet all these Christian preachers have surgically removed a secondary sexual characteristic - facial hair.
Hypocrites. "Gay Marriage" won't destroy a marriage, unless of course it's a gay married to a straight; most of those marriages are doomed. The number one threat to marriage is adultery. That's one of the "big ten" Moses brought down, interestingly none of which says "thou shalt not suck another man's dick".
Why would any woman be attracted to a man without facial hair? That would be like a man thinking a woman with a mustache, or a flat chested woman, is hot.
The difference between shaving and a radical mastectomy is that tits don't grow back. I can see a gay man wanting to shave, as he's trying to attract men, but why would any self-respecting heterosexual man remove a secondary sexual characteristic?
To steal a meme from Jeff Foxworthy, if you are clean shaven, you just might be gay!
Rich, clean shaven preachers wearing neckties like bankers and politicians and judging people for their sins is what's wrong with organized Christianity. Next time a Jehova's Witness knocks on your door, tell him "sorry, but you just look too GAY.

If you believe in such things, it turns out that the Old Testament, as brought down by Moses from Mount Sinai, does list male homosexual relations as a capital crime.

I do not know about the New Testament, but there is no prohibition against shaving one's facial hair (except for shaving one's sideburns) in the Old Testament.
Could you be thinking about the Old Testament prohibition against cross-dressing?

It's a symbol of wealth and power, but more importantly they're unnecessary and uncomfortable. Now, I have nothing against bankers and politicians wearing them, but no preacher should. Your necktie shows the world what you really worship.

on the facial hair. i havent shaved in five years, and only because back then a 'stache is all my job would allow.
nowadays i keep it trimmed low, but no 'manscaping' or 'shaping' or whatever the kids are doing these days.
since the government likes meddling in our lives so much anyway, i propose a new law that ends discrimination against facial hair at the job site. only jobs where you need to wear a mask and have a good seal on your face should be able to dictate facial hair.

Incidentally, I've known a couple of happily married (to a woman w/ children) gay men who went sailing or camping with the boys on the w/e. This arrangement was more common in previous centuries.
