Journal FroMan's Journal: Seraphina Faith Day 10

God has blessed us with our new born daughter Seraphina Faith Day born Tuesday July 14 3:59 AM, 7 pounds 3 ounces, and 19 inches long. Mother and daughter are both doing wonderful. The labor was very easy and quick for my wife and she is recovering excellent. Seraphina arrived with a voracious appetite, but has been satiated and is now sleeping comfortably.

Pictures are on our website: http://www.crazydays.org in the photo ablum section.

  • Named for those six-winged angels? A very nice name.

Yeah, you see, we both played Magic the Gathering a lot in high school and wanted her to be a 4/4 flying creature ... Okey. Not serious.

We both really liked the name, and had infact chosen it before we knew the gender of our first child. Since a little boy running around with the name Seraphina would be pretty wierd we decided to hold off on the name until we had a girl.

  • I look forward to more JEs about parenting;-)
  • to the world little one.

  • She'll have you wrapped around her little finger before you know it. ;)
  • Glad to hear that mother and daughter are doing fine. Looks like she has your eyes (but then I didn't go looking for your wife's picture, so I could be wrong). I'm sure she is a joy to behold. :-)

Thank you. Compared to her big brother, she rarely ever opens her eyes. Her little brother (who definitely has his mother's eyes) was always alert and trying to look around at his surroundings. She really isn't worried about her surroundings and will only open her eyes for a little bit.

Genetics explains why you look like your father, and if you don't, why you should.

Working...
