Journal DancingSword's Journal: Best commandline colourspace utils for Linux? ( help! )

What are the best colour-space utilities, command-line preferred, for us linuxen?

I've glanced at
Linux Links - Graphics Tools, and
Linux Links - Graphics Tools, Conversion, and
ArgyllCMS ( which may do such conversion ( but it's kind-of listed as beta, and last-updated a year ago... ), and
Generic CMS, which is alpha...

Should I just go with a GIMP script/batch?

Argyll's Color Related Stuff ( a util there looks like it's what would be ideal, maybe, I'll dig into it later.. ), and, just for the hell of it...
PNG Crush and
Scanner CAlibration ReaSonably Easy, which hasn't been updated in a couple of years...
