Think of classic Star Trek (Score:1)
With 90% casting of blacks - with a smattering of token asian and white characters. This is principals, guest stars and extras. Dark skin and wooly hair are the "normal" throughout the Galaxy. Why not? And on earth, a disease caused an acceleration of deadly skin cancers that all but eliminated people with melanin deficiency, late in the 21st century.
Uhura is the "normal" - That would have been a much more relevant and interesting theme for "Mirror Mirror".
It would never make it off the page.
