Give me your definitions of freedom.
This one isn't like the other ones. I haven't nailed down my own definition of what freedom is or is not.
All I know for sure is that the right libertarians are wrong. Freedom is NOT money. Taxes don't steal your freedom.
But that's not a definition. So sock it to me!

That was a useless comment. It assumes an awful lot. The assumptions are wrong.
I know what freedom is. I didn't say I didn't.
I said I don't have a DEFINITION of freedom. And I am not looking for the useless ones in the dictionary.

Freedom means breaking the shackles of the self - free from the commands and demands of the ego.
Freedom is the absence of desire, and contentment with the removal of attachment to anything.
Freedom means freely giving up anything in your hands, and freely excepting whatever befalls - while remaining equinanimous to all.
Freedom has the outward signs of kindness, humility and gratitude.

frredom is a construct of each one consciousness, so one consciousness's freedom can not be known by another consciousness. we can agree on the objective, but not on the subjective

Freedom is being able to do what you want to do, when you want to do it.
By that definition, no one is ever 100% free.
