"The Bank" told him what to do, that's fo' shure! Everything you have, has been taken to the bank - just don't try to get it back...

"I will promise you this, that if we have not gotten our troops out by the time I am president, it is the first thing I will do. I will get our troops home. We will bring an end to this war. You can take that to the bank. "

The hilariously sad part (0)

Is that the republicons are just going to keep labelling him as a soft-on-terror surrender monkey despite the fact that in the 11 months so far this year we've arrested more terrorists than Bush ever did and sent more troops to war than Bush ever did.

But oh wait, Obama wants to give a terrorist a trial, a real tough-on-terror president would leave him to rot for decades in a multibillion-dollar-a-year facility on enemy territory where it's safer. (I'm sure right about now people in Cuba are all getting a little bit nervous about how dangerous it is to have these guys next door to them, but I'm sure the Republicons were telling them it was OK thanks Cuba's superior security forces keeping them safer than America could ever make New York.)

Go ahead. Keep making this a rep/dem thing. You've swallowed the bait, hook, line and sinker. If it makes you feel better about the new boss being the same as the old boss, by all means, go for the "at least he's not a republican/bush" anesthesia; can't say as I really blame you.
