I was looking at your blog entry a couple of entries before (15K training) and being interested in anything in Spanish was intrigued by the quotation you have a photograph of.
"...por sus llagas hemos sido salvados"
is interesting, because I don't know what we've been saved by. In the DRAE (the Spanish language equivalent of the OED), there is a definition of the verb "llagar", which goes like this: "Hacer o causar llagas." - (make or cause "llagas"). But the word "llagas" is not actually defined in the dicti
