Journal Shakrai's Journal: /. 2.0 weirdness 4

Anybody else have the issue where you only see one icon for a friend/fan? I have people who are both and I only see the green friend icon. Used to see both of them, friend and fan.

I use Firefox, but this is an issue in IE too.

    What's been bugging me is that idle.slashdot.org's javascript has been broken hardcore for weeks now. Can't open a thread or abbreviated post because the onclick function fails to return false to keep the browser from following the link and going to a new page with just that comment making reading comments ragetastic.

    But I use the Slashdot "classic" discussion view, as I see no reason to enable JavaScript for a textual content web site. So I'm enjoyably free of all the Web 2.0-ey gunk, and as an added extra bonus I don't see any ads, either. But what I do miss is seeing *any* of the relationship icons on posts.       I was always a subscriber back when they let you do direct credit card payments. I stopped being one when that went away and Paypal was the only way to pay for an account. I got screwed over by Paypal way back in the day and haven't been allowed to use it since. When certain individuals decided to use my journal to troll I decided that I needed the ability to control them (i.e: the no-foes option subscribers get) more than I needed to not use Paypal.
