Tet's Journal: Oops

Today I learned that my window manager hotkey to bring the focused window to the front doesn't work when the thing that's obscuring the window in question is a post-it note on the monitor. D'oh!

I've filed a bug report and suggested fix with 3M

Hi. One of my friends was complaining that the post-it on his monitor was blocking information underneath.

SUGGESTED FIX: Transparent/translucent post-it.

Remember - if you see 3M announcing transparent post-its at some future date, they got the idea from me. And since I'm also posting the idea here, it's in the public domain and not subject to patent. So don't delete this post!

Been there, done that. I was working on a friends laptop once and also looking at her desktop. I kept trying to use the desktop mouse for the laptop: to no avail :-)
