FortKnox's Journal: Nocturne to become a movie

According to Y! Entertainment, the PC game Nocturne, created by Terminal Reality, is becoming a movie, produced by Dimension Films. I hope this doesn't become another botched video game movie (with one exception)...

I keep wanting to rent "starship troopers" to see how badly they desecrated poor robert heinleins grave... But better judgement says not to do it, for I will be angered beyond belief.

Some movies just shouldn't be made unless you really stick to the plot, or you let the creator help out (like Sagan helped out in the beginning of Contact and kept the science in, even though some parts had to be changed, which made a good movie)....

Starship troopers

All the sociological impacts are removed. Ethics class is removed. Power armor is removed. Training looks like cake.

Starship troopers is a teen flick. Don't waste your money.

I've seen it. Trust me, you don't want to watch it. Poor Heinlein's probably rolling around in his grave.

Mortal Kombat

Maybe I am easily entertained, but I thought the first mortal kombat movie wasn't all that bad. It wasn't a great movie or anything, but it was fairly entertaining.
