t0qer's Journal: Burger King drops African-American Advertising

Shitty stories the last few weeks, nothing really of interest to comment on, so I'm back here again writing my own stories...

Has anyone noticed Burger King no longer is advertising to African Americans? Just 2 years ago BK was pumping out commercials that looked like psuedo rap video's, complete with a puff daddy lookalike. Obvious attempt to get more african americans to eat more BK.

An interesting side note, BK is run by a African American management team (saw it hanging on a plaque at BK)

Lately BK has been running commercials, showing white cowboys talking about what a great life it is, the smell of the burning wood, burgers cooked over an open fire, yadda yadda. Has anyone else noticed this?

Just noticed a BK commercial with Shaq. Not sure if it's an old one but wouldn't that be trying to reach the African-American crowd?
