Journal OverTheGeicoE's Journal: Whitehouse.gov Petition To Abolish TSA Is Among Most Popular

Whitehouse.gov, the official Web site for the US executive branch, allows users to create online petitions. One of them, a petition to "Abolish the TSA, and use its monstrous budget to fund more sophisticated, less intrusive counter-terrorism intelligence", has over 23,000 signatures and is the third most popular petition on the site at the time of this writing. A paper from the Cato Institute entitled "Abolish the Department of Homeland Security" explains the merits of this idea. The author is part of a Capitol Hill policy briefing today about abolishing TSA.
