So the new Star Wars MMORPG is having a free weekend, thought i'd check it out. It want's a new account made, and says it can be linked later to your EA Games/Origin account. Cool. It also wants a password with at least 1 capital letter and 1 number. Cool. I do that.

So today, i try to do some things on my Lord of Ultima game i play, an EA Games Play for free or whatever stupid name they use for that. And guess what? Shit ain't working right. So i decide to logout and log back in, and guess what? My fucking password doesn't work. Which password works? The new one I made for the Star Wars game.

Ya, completely different system, and yet, now i have the same account name (my email address of course, required) and the same fucking password to a bunch of different EA Games.

Where the fuck is the security in that? We have been told for years to use a different password for your different accounts and now the big companies that already criminalize their users are saying, "Fuck you, we don't care about account security, or you. Just your money."
